this is the a5 IF assembly to hp agilent spectrum analyzer 8560a and 8563a models only
there are two compatible types. one analyzer has the cal oscillator built in to the a4 log amp board and the other one doesnt, this will need to match the right year so tell me the first 4 numbers of your serial to be sure. this auction includes either or, since I have both.if it doesnt work ill just exchange it for the one that does so no need to worry.
I have about 10 of these in all different part numbers , the 08560 and 08563 prefixes are interchangeable. it just matters which year theyre from. I believe the prefixes with 08563 are the ones that work with log amp boards that have built in cal oscillators.

if youre getting errors that start with 4 or 5 ,, this could very well be bad, but you need to diagnose it for sure via service manual before purchasing. we also diagnose and repair here if you want to send it in, usually a 200$ repair fee plus parts.
If you need it for E model I also have those for around the same price or less already on ebay. check my auctions.
these boards are plug and play! no adjustment needed! also there is no returns for these if they dont fix your problem. returns only if the board is defective! and ill know if you tamper with it because all boards come fully tested.
