Excellent condish anritsu spec an with fresh calibration cert/sticker 2 yr interval!  Option 9

For functionality it all works perfect within spec but……. It is consistently 1.5 dbm too low across the full span.

Which is borderline passing absolute amplitude spec for calibration. However the peak to peak flatness per band is good as shown.

Knowing this you just factor 1.5 dbm offset into all your readings and you’re golden! No problem!

Because of this it comes with a partial calibration cert where it passes all specs except absolute amplitude spec where it basically  passes but on the threshold . It’s definitely better than the vast majority of these I’ve come across!

Buttons and knob work effortlessly which is also better than most of them .display has plenty of years of life left!

This has identical internals to the ms2720b 20 ghz handheld units. Thus why it only weighs the same !!!(About a few lbs only) And is so tiny…. We installed a brand new cmos battery which die every 10 years. As well as a new window(acrylic) so no more crystalization  which is prevalent on most of them.

It includes a 4 ghz preamp as well so you can see in photos it gets -165dbm noise level at 4 ghz! Incredible also due to the stunning 1 hz rbw resolution!!! This greatly reduces the displayed average noise level(noise floor)

Phase noise is lower than the fieldfoxes even! And wayyy better than rohde or agilent brand handhelds!  Also has way lower spurious and residuals than rohdes top  handheld and portable units!

It uses a large battery design which are 1/3 larger capacity to fieldfox so it lasts a good 3 hours +++
