amazing 1250-1650 nm optical spec an osa.made by exfo the leader in portable osas and other optical gear.

Huge touch screen and runs windows XP. With new ssd HDD! Plus upgraded new ram and upgraded backlight to led!

Comes with 2 super good long last batteries for 3 hour runtime+++!

Amplitude and wavelength accuracy is superb! Comes cald before shipment! The sweep speed /response time is 5 times faster than the older 5240p model I have on another ftb500 I’m selling. That one has twice the resolution though.

This s models interface is far superior to the older tedious and slow “performance” model 5240p.

The only performance you gain is double the resolution. Everything else is far faster performing on this S model you’re buying here.its a huge difference with the GUI alone!

The s model only takes two slots

Still 2 open slots for otdr or laser, etc…

And comes aligned and cald using external sources and power sensors /wl source.

Comes with new nist traceable cert.

We are a 25 yr owned test equipment dealer here at test cal instruments in diamond bar Ca , come take it for a test drive! Anytime 7 days a week noon to 9 pm.

Plus find us online painlessly guaranteed for massive tax breaks and other huge discounts!

We use a agilent wavelength  calibrator and power reference to align these.

This one comes with a brand new led upgrade  since these go out every 10 years or so and it drains the battery half as much compared to ccfl florescents! Plus is twice as bright!!!.

30 day warranty!

Given the right price everything pictured is for sale! Make me an offer I can’t refuse!

We do calibrations up to 50 GHz and parts, repairs, rentals, extended warranty available , and we’re one of the few people in the country that can actually repair this model (optical). This one is refurbished and comes with general monochromator maintenance plus a new SSD HDD upgrade  making the slow startup faster and more reliable for 20 plus years.

.

Plus we use our calibrated source and dual power meter to cal the power as well.

Passes self alignment and self measure fast and easy every time which is rare on these. Which is great since they are recommended to run once a day at least.

The slit and grating wheel motors work flawlessly smooth with no resistance or noises before and after we lubricated them. Plus all the monochromator optics have been cleaned for easy location and most efficiency.

Passes all self tests every time.

One of them has an overhauled monochromator driver board and one has a brand new display and display driver board set.(Dual ccfls)

I’ll make more pics later . So check back.

We also sell other optical gear like laserbeams , optical attenuators and mainframes, other osas sometimes, etc…

My calibrations are nist traceable.
