Works flawless  except the opt 007 analog sweeps which I can remove and remedy that no problem but since it actually works fine and just flashes unlock briefly while sweeping analog only,  I can keep it in or remove it sending you the license if you want to readd it ever.up to you. Doesn’t affect any other parts of the unit . It had this little issue and still passed full cal with data as shown. It’s a common issue on low phase noise machines with UNx or uny since it’s a fast sweep trying to keep up with narrow tuned plls for the ultra low phase noise options. It’s nearly impossible to get working right . Not really designed for analog ramp sweeps with uny honestly.so take it or leave it. It will pass cal either way. Let me know and I’ll remove it easily in the menu if you wish.

Has massive dynamic range with both high power and attenautor options. Plus fast pulse and full analog modulation suite with low band output. And cf card or is it hdd. One of the two. See pics of serial for all opts.

For those who don’t know this uny is the beez neez of phase noise and nothing in the world beats it! Not even the 8663a! Or 8665b! I have both so I know ! Even the Anritsu mg series or rubidium with opt 3x can’t touch this! And definetley nothing rohde has made that I know of.

It adds 4 special ultra low phase noise pcbs to achieve such a ridiculously low noise. It’s around 20-25dbc lower than the UNx equipped units even! Check the datasheet! Its guaranteed to bottom out every spectrum analyzer on the market I believe. You need a cross correlation system to measure it realistically which I have as well and will put plots here soon! So check back! This is my pride and joy but I never use it . And it’s just sitting here. Plus I have 2  40 ghz ones  with UNx anyways.and UNx is pretty low already 😉

But not stupid low like this baby! If you look at the prices from keysight used these run used at 70k! And the UNx models run half around 35k only purely due to the uny. And what it takes for it to have this ultra expensive option. It’s 4 pcbs and an ultra special sc cut hand picked 10 Mhz oscillator box.
