Smu200a 3 ghz model . Ultra low phase noise inherently as shown on my cross correlation phase noise tester system. Plots depict 1 ghz and 10Mhz carrier frequencies. As you can see it’s super low(much better performance than agilent or Anritsus of the same era!
Plus with great options such as dual arb wavform gen, bb gen, high power, digital ins and outs , and utra standard modulation .plus two full independent channels! Pretty incredible! You get two sig gens for one! Has baseband analog and digital ins as well.
Plus it includes the power meter option which is one of my fav parts as shown! If you want the sensor it’s an extra 1600$. It goes to 33 ghz within spec.and super linear with super high dynamic range!
Buttons press easy as do most rohde buttons!
Display is excellent still!
It has a ton of preset waveforms built in.
This one comes calibrated with NIST cert and meets all spec including max and min power, flatness, power and frequency accuracy, linearity, harmonics, spurious, phase noise, attenuator steps, dynamic range, 10 mhz reference ins and outputs, etc…
Power accuracy is excellent! Attenautor steps are all accurate as well!.. it has built in analog internal modulations plus an IQ modulator for digital. And Arb waveform gen with 64 MB memory option and baseband generator option too!
As shown passes all self tests and self calibrations . And performs beautifully within spec as shown. With no error history!
