This unit has extremely low hours on it! Passes all self tests and full calibration!
Brand new battery(250$)
This is a jdsu viavi jd745B 4 ghz , the later model than the A . Maxed out with the best options! And the most recent non buggy firmware!
Comes calibrated with cert and sticker . 2 yr interval on these.
Frequency is precise for a little thing.
It has a 1 channel (2 port) vna /cable /antenna tester 4 GHz and a 4 GHz spectrum analyzer in one! Pretty sweet combination!
Plus a full fledged signal generator with cw and tracking generator to 4 GHz! That is a rarity with handhelds!
Plus it’s got optical functions like power meter, and capability for a fiber and connector inspection camera as shown! You will need to buy the cam itself to use it however.
It’s got gps for freq accuracy and location finding. It’s got a million other functions see option list!
My fav use is the dual capability simultaneous cw signal generator paired with spectrum analyzer function so it’s perfect for troubleshooting systems where you need to insert a signal and check the if out . Nothing beats it other than a fieldfox which are 6 times the price!
For this function we have 3 of these in our repair lab. .
Also you’re gonna wanna use peak detector mostly. It defaults to avg and avg isn’t accurate when rbw switching or at full spans .
We love these in our labs because of the versatility for the price. It’s unmatched ! We’ve researched and calibrated all the handhelds and these are the best for the pri
