jdsu sws16101 ultra pure laser with super long range (140 nm! )

It works 100 percent and is in excellent condition!

The laser works very well and meets specs for the most part.but maybe slightly off so unsure if it would pass a full cal without alignment but it’s quite possible it would. Like the spec is very tight on these. Like .1 dbm flatness. That’s a tall order for a tunable laser I’d say . I’ve never seen any tunable laser perform like that. But it’s not far off either. And that spec is only for the center most portion of its full sweep.

If you set the output power to zero dbm it will put out a flat signal across the full span however which is the most important part!

. It’s a fully functional laser .

it will achieve over 8 dbm at the high end of the range. And gets about zero dbm at the outskirts.  I hear you can adjust the vertical alignment on these to get full spec performance but I’ve never tried and don’t want to mess with it. One mm off will result in the current performance it has been said.

The signal purity is excellent as shown.
