8510c’s test set 50 GHz : 8517A 45 MHz to 50 GHz range with 2.4 mm couplers and 2 attenuators . One for each port.
The attenuators almost always come defective on these things so we overhaul them regularly and have done so on this one! I also have another unit without the attenuator option config for 500$ less if interested!
That will get you more gain but cant test high gain amps without an external setup. It will also create more stability I’m told so some prefer it. Choose your own.
Both test sets have overhauled attenuators! And come cald!
